HVORFOR Flere og flere danskere overlever deres kræftsygdom, og med overlevelsen følger en række senfølger af både fysisk og psykisk karakter. Nogle brystkræftkvinder får brug for hjælpemidler som f.eks. kompressionsærmer og handsker. Her giver Livja kvinderne en hånd med at slippe fri af rollen som patient og kombinere det medicinske hjælpemiddel med livskvalitet. Vi deler viden med kommuner og sagsbehandlere og gør det lettere for borgerne at finde vej gennem systemet og søge bevillinger. Livja assisterer også organisationer og arbejdspladser i forhold til, hvordan de kan gribe deres kolleger og medarbejdere, når de bliver ramt af alvorlig sygdom.
