La riforma del Sistema Socio Sanitario Lombardo, introdotta dalla Legge Regionale 23 del 2015, ha trasformato l’Azienda Ospedaliera in Azienda Socio Sanitaria Territoriale. Questa nuova realtà punta all’integrazione fra strutture ospedaliere e territoriali, al raccordo con i medici di medicina generale e i pediatri di libera scelta. L’obiettivo è quello di offrire una risposta corale alla domanda di salute fisica e mentale, che coinvolga anche il mondo del volontariato e riconosca un ruolo fondamentale alla famiglia e agli enti del terzo settore.
